FM 89.5 and Naga-CS Rotary Club
cagers cup, one beat, one game
THE
Beat FM 89.5 and the Rotary Club of Naga-Camarines Sur, in
partnership with the city government of Naga, are organizing a
basketball cup set to transpire on August 26 and 28 and September
10 and 11, 2005 at the Naga City Gymnasium.
Four schools signified to participate – Ateneo de Naga University,
CCDI, Naga College Foundation and Divine Word College of Legazpi.
Each team is sending 10 to 15 players.
The Tournament Board of the cup is composed of the athletic
directors of each school. They are to settle all issues that will
arise in the course of the competition.
Following the single round robin elimination format, each team is
entitled to 3 selimination games before the final round. The cup
also goes by the 2004 Fiba Amateur Rules.
All schools, regardless of rank, will receive trophies. The Most
Valuable Player and the Mythical Five will likewise to be awarded.
Tickets are available at the venue and cost Php 5.00 for the
elimination matches and Php 10.00 for the championship
