SJF, NYC heads ICSCJ ‘05

Anchored with theme “ICSCJ Celebrating 10 Years of Campus Press Freedom Advocacy,” the Society of Junior Fellows, an honor organization in the University of Nueva Caceres, together with the National Youth Commission will spearhead the 2005 Inter-Collegiate Summit on Campus, Naga City participated by the members of the editorial board of tertiary school publications within the Bicol Region.

This annual journalism event aims to provide a training ground for the development of writing skills of campus journalists, promote free and responsible campus press and instill in the minds of campus writers the genuine value of responsibility and commitment through the medium of campus journalism.

The summit will feature lectures, fora, discussions, individuals and group rudiments on the following areas of campus journalism: news writing; feature writing; lay-outing; copy reading and headline writing; sports writing; editorial writing; editorial cartooning; photojournalism and investigative reporting.
