SEN. RICHARD GORDON explains to the Naga media his bill that provides stiffer penalties for drunken and drug-influenced driving. The Gordon Bill also provides for more extensive driving education, mandatory alcohol and drug testing of drivers, and the establishment of a Drunken Driving Prevention Fund to be used for field sobriety tests and other administration costs to curb the incidence of drunken driving. Fake doc, hospital chief face malpractice raps

THE National Bureau of Investigation here has recommended the filing of a case against an alleged resident physician of Our Lady of Mediatrix Hospital in Iriga City for illegal practice of medicine and serious physical injuries and another case against Dr. Renee Villaranda, chief of the same hospital for “aiding an unqualified person to practice medicine”, in violation of the Medical Act of 1959..
