“Kapihan sa SokSay” on July 11

de Naga University - The Sociology Cluster of the Social Sciences
Department invites everyone to “Kapihan kan SokSay”, the regular
discussion forum sponsored by the department to encourage active
multi-sectoral dialogue and to raise awareness & critical thinking
about economic, social & political concerns in the national &
international spheres.
The said activity will be on Monday, July 11, 2005, 4:30 PM at
OB111 (Social Sciences Training Room) in Ateneo de Naga
University.
The topic for discussion is “Women, Men and Bikol Underdevelopment
in the Peñafrancia Tradition in Naga City. Mr. Jon Michael
Villaseñor, M.A., Sociology Instructor and concurrently with the
Ateneo Social Science Research Center, is the main lecturer. Mr.
Villaseñor presented the same topic at Seoul, Korea during the
World Women Congress last June 2005.
