COMPAÑERA
MADE TO BE. While Atty. Daisy Punzalan Bragais (standing)
cannot stop expressing gratitude to everybody during her
thanksgiving celebration as she passed the Bar and become one of
the rosters of law practitioners, the spouse, Atty. Jun-Jun
Bragais cannot help but wipe his uncontrolled “tears of joy”
teary-eyes. Yet, t’was not a hard thought for the families of both
Atty. Braggy and Atty. Daisy, because everyone who really knew
them well has this to say: passing exams, be it Board or Bar, runs
in the families!!
A thanksgiving mass was offered by the Punzalan-Bragais family at
the Basilica Minore followed by a reception at the IBP Bldg. last
May 22. (left photo) from left, Judge Rosario Torrecampo, Judge
Fely Bragais (who fortunately happens to be Daisy’s Mom-in-Law)
and BM’s Law 101 columnist and Daisy’s partner in life, Atty.

to introduce all the people who supported her while all the close
relatives and family members listen on deeply.

WHAT
REMAINS OF THE ROCK MOUNTAIN. Piles of Andesite flatstones
excavated from the quarry operations in the exploited Mount Tambo
of Buhi town as the Task Force Kalikasan in coordination with the
DENR put to stop the illegal operations and the emerging danger to
the nearby local communities. Photo shows the Andesite slabs
becoming useless as it remain untouched and worthless... What is
to be done, then?
