NIHONGO IN CAMARINES SUR – Japanese teacher Sei Yasuyo, fondly called “Miki-sensei” by her students, is caught hard at work in one of her Nihongo classes as her attentive students are captivated and seemed fascinated with learning the nuances of a foreign language. Given the success of the Japanese Language Learning Course (JLLC) as offered for free by the Camarines Sur provincial government through the Information Technology Center (CSITC), efforts have been made to expand the program to incorporate IT in the language curriculum, thus, necessitating the hiring of an additional Japanese teacher in the very near future.
