NCF awarded most outstanding school

The Naga College Foundation shall be one of the recipients of the 2006 Philippine Quality Awards for Business Excellence (PQABE), as the Most Outstanding School in Naga. The PQABE awards are conferred to companies that have achieved business excellence in the Philippines. “The Awards are premised on the belief that recognizing companies that exemplify business excellence spurs the business industry and competition to strive for the best in business,” says the organizers — Philippine Quality Awards for Business Excellence Secretariat and the Smart Business Magazine. Initial group of companies that were awarded include McDonalds, Shakey’s, CD-R King, Dynapharm, AMA Computer University, Robinsons Homes, among other hundreds that are now member of the elite circle of the Philippine Business World-Quality Class.

All awardees were surveyed rigorously against the global Malcolm Baldridge Awards for Business Excellence using the following criteria: quality of product or service being offered, customer satisfaction, community contribution and goodwill, innovative business practices, market share, company sustainability and longevity, and membership and participation in professional associations.

The awarding ceremony shall be held on August 22 at the Hotel Intercontinental in Makati City.
