Ateneo celebrates University Month
During the whole month of February, Ateneo de Naga University
shall come alive with the celebration of its University Month.
Inspired by the theme “Excellence through Companionship,” this
Jesuit academic institution in Bikol will be motion-filled from
February 1 up to 25.
For four straight weeks, activities involving the students,
teachers, and university guests shall take flight in the spirit of
unity and gratitude for many blessings received. Among these shall
be lectures, seminars, quiz bees, contests and exhibits.
Some of the activities in the offing for this month-long
celebration include:
This year’s celebration is particularly special because it
coincides with the Jubilee Year of the First Companions of the
Society of Jesus – Sts. Ignatius of Loyola and Francis Xavier and
Bl. Peter Faber.
It is in the light of this worldwide celebration among Jesuits and
their lay partners that companionship , more specifically
Excellence through Companionship, shall be highlighted during this
exciting month-long celebration.
