UNC President inducts new
High School alumni officers
Dr.
Dolores H. Sison, president of the University of Nueva Caceres,
Naga City led the oath taking of the new set of officers and board
of directors of the UNC High School Alumni Association held in a
simple rites last Saturday, February 18, 2006 at the president’s
office. Inducted into office were Engr. Gorgonio T. Albo, Jr. as
the new alumni president; Amy E. San Juan, vice-president; Gilda
Abanes-Oliver, secretary; Arleen Bañares-Plopinio, treasurer;
Erwin B. Oliver, PIO; Leocadio Lacanlale and Evelyn Cueto-Ramirez,
business managers and the directors are Lilian L. Bobiles, Oscar
N. Alonzo, Jr., Hector R. Aguilar, Emma de la Torre- Batch ‘82,
Annaliza Mariano – Batch ‘83, Ernesto V. Magtuto, Jr Batch ‘84,
Lyn Palmiano-Santy – Batch ‘85.
The inductees were presented and introduced to Dr. Sison by
immediate past President Mr. Stephen Alba of batch 1970. Also,
present during the rites was Dr. Josephine B. Alba, the
coordinator of UNC Alumni Office.
Engr. Albo is the incumbent president of Batch 1981 who will be
this year’s silver jubilarian. They will play host to the 10th
High School General Alumni Homecoming and Reunion on December 30,
2006 at the UNC campus.
