of the Vincentian Academic Service Learning Method Orientation
held last January 18, 2006. Service Learning is a method which
“focuses on critical reflective thinking and experiential learning
that addresses local needs and foster civic responsibility.” It
is, in essense, bringing the classroom into a broader landscape -
the community.
