A day with the elderly



SOME 13 elderlies of Barangay Liboton, Naga City were treated to a park tour, parlor games, short program and lunch last Saturday, April 29 at the Naga City Eco Park to give them an opportunity to enjoy nature and for socialization with the members of the Liboton Community Volunteers Association (LCVA).

        Photo above shows the elderly among the LCVA officers and members who sponsored the activity and whose officers include: Tony Amparado-president, Totoy Severo-vice president, Helen Juanillo-secretary, Sol Dadis-treasurer, Remy Reburiano-auditor, chairpersons Cecile Amparado for social services, Lolit de Jesus-livelihood, Mameng Rañosa-agriculture & environment and Mila Paras-education & culture. Also in photo is Eumelia Flotildes-president of the Liboton Barangay Senior Citizens Association.

        Other programs of the Association include monthly Mass & Breakfast for the elderly, beautification, pilgrimage to cultural and historical sites, livelihood and scholarships.

        The LCVA will sponsor a “Garage Sale” on May 21 starting 8:00 A.M. at Jacob Ext. as a fund raising activity.
