Court denies SP petition against Mayor Jimenez

PILI, Camarines Sur – Beleaguered Libmanan Mayor Rodolfo Jimenez scored one over the provincial capitol after Branch 31 of the Regional Trial Court here last Monday, Nov. 20, denied the motion filed by the Sangguniang Panlawigan questioning the jurisdiction of the court over the verified petition for certiorari and prohibition with prayer for temporary restraining order filed by Jimenez following a Sanggunian resolution recommending the municipal mayor’s suspension for a period of 60 days.
