MATERIALS RECOVERY FACILITY. Its steel structure and some recycling equipment downed by Typhoon Reming last year, Naga’s MRF within the dumpsite whose replaced roof is now made of canvass continues to churn out at relatively lower pace the city’s mounting garbage into organic fertilizer as seen in the foreground ready for packaging. Mayor Jesse Robredo has admitted that the dumpsite is no longer tenable so that there is a need to look for better, more manageable location in the next three years.
