The occasion is MOA signing between USI and Globe Telecom on Aug. 22, 2007 (inset) where the latter devised a customized Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) tailored exclusively for USI, its students and their families, faculty and staff. Among its special features are touch button access to grades, individual account balances, University info updates and special announcements, lower rates, discounts and freebies to be enjoyed only by USI SIM subscribers.
