LABO, Camarines Norte – Two persons died while two more are in serious condition after a grenade exploded during a drinking spree.

        Based on the report of Labo PNP, the two fatalities were Joey Mendoza, 24,and Rico Oresca, 35, who were playing with the grenade when it accidentally exploded at Purok 2, Barangay Kalabasa here, on Saturday, August 4.

        In critical condition were Lito Quinito, 35, and Wilmur Quinito, 34, both residents of Barangay Malangcao-Basud.

        The investigation showed that the victims were in a drinking bout in the house of one Alan Aranas when Oresca showed off the grenade and accidentally pulled its safety pin which caused the blast.
