The Peñafrancia Young Professionals (PYP), an organization based at the Basilica Minore and the Philippine Dental Association-Cam Sur Chapter sponsored a Dental Mission at the Prompt Succor Parish, Canaman, Camarines Sur last August 5, 2007.

        A total of 145 patients coming for the different areas of the parish of Prompt Succor were benefited by the said mission.

        The dentists who attended the patients were: Dr. Juvy T. Perez (coordinator), Dr. Reina G. Gapit, Dr. Juliana R. San Jose, Dr. Romeo I. Mijares, Dr. Jose M. Fuentebella, Jr., Dr. Alain Cordial, Dr. Jaime Lanuza, Dr. Judith A. Cortez, Dr. Ma. Corazon Siguenza, Dr. Leiza Palabrica and Dr. Arvin F. dela Rosa.

        The PYP has already more than 40 members with Ms. Zarah Sierra as the PYP President. Fr. Louie Occiano and Fr. Rex. Alarcon (Spiritual Directors) and Msgr. Romulo A. Vergara, Rector of the Basilica Minore, were also present during the activity.
