NAGA CITY –- Seven high-ranking local officials of the City of Tanauan in Batangas are coming to the city for their 3-day study tour.

        Tanauan City Mayor Sonia Torres-Aquino told Mayor Robredo that they have chosen Naga as their benchmark LGU in their quest for best practices on local governance that may be replicable in their own setting.

        “Since you (have) built a reputation of being a center of innovations in local governance, we are (requesting you) to accommodate our delegates and give them first hand information on the best practices that your city (of Naga) has been initiating,” Mayor Torres-Aquino wrote Robredo.

        The visitors are particularly interested in application and processes regarding business permits, licenses, and real estate taxation.
