THE results of the recently concluded political exercises particularly in Naga City didn’t amaze me a bit. It was undeniably expected.

        In fact, before I left for the US in February, I have a strong notion that the re-election bid of Mayor Robredo will be unopposed. Imagine his sterling accomplishments that brought honor, prestige and recognition not only among the Naguenos but also to the Bicolanos and to the Filipinos as well.

        Everybody knows that Mayor Robredo is still unbeatable. The message was overwhelmingly clear. Disqualification is indeed not an alternative for good governance. The key elements in winning in an elections are performance, credibility and integrity.

        Mabuhay ka, Mayor Robredo. Tunay na Pilipino. Tubod ako.
