Kudos to Cordero’s column

After reading Mr. Cordero’s column about “An Osipon kan Osipon” I am reminded of W.B. Yeats essay on Magic. W.B. Yeats gloriously wrote: “We who write, we who bear witness, must often hear our hearts cry out against us, complaining because of their hidden things, and I know not but he who speaks of wisdom may sometimes, in the change that is coming upon the world, have to fear the anger of the people.”

Now, compare this with Mr. Cordero’s line: An kagayonan kan sarong osipon yaon sa kun pano hinihiling kan sarong parasurat an saiyang materyal asin in! nagpupuon man nanggad sa pag-untok asin pagpabulos kan mga letra sa papel o sa screen kan kompyuter.

Well done, Mr. Cordero. That is one of the reasons why I always enjoy your column. Please continue the “pagpabulos kan mga letra”. You may hide the wisdom in your “osipon”, and for those who found it will surely cry out, even though the fear of the people is present or hopefully past.
