BASUD THRICE. The town’s Assistant Municipal Registration Officer Lorna V. Sta. Clara receives the trophy from Carmelita N. Ericta, NSO administrator and civil registrar general, and Lourdes J. Hufana, director, Civil Registry Department, for the first place in the national level for Small Category at the 5th National Convention of Solemnizing Officers at the Limketkai Center, Cagayan de Oro City, on October 11, 2007. In 2004 and 2005 the municipality also earned the Top Performer Award of the Bicol Region under Municipal Civil Registration Officer Arnilo A. Barrameda.

Camarines Sur Governor LRay Villafuerte, accompanied by Mayor Arnie Fuentebella of Tigaon, distributes food packs, shelter and hygiene kits, and certificates of eligibility for housing units to several barangays in Tigaon as part of the governor’s delivery of social services in partnership with the International Organization for Migration (IOM).
