LABO, Camarines Norte -- A barangay kagawad who had just filed his certificate of candidacy for the forthcoming Barangay and SK Elections met an accident while negotiating his motorcycle in the length of Maharlika Highway in Labo town, Monday afternoon, October l.

        Investigation by the police revealed that Barangay Kagawad Doroteo Lagatuz was on his way home to Barangay Anamean when his Honda TMX l25 overtook a back hoe truck when the motorcycle was sideswept by an approaching passenger bus throwing Lagatuz to the concrete pavement his head struck causing his immediate death.
