Sir, I beg to disagree with you regarding your comment (Editorial, Murder of Culture, dated 03/Apr./2008) about bastardized Bikol language. In my opinion all languages in the world undergoes an evolution and the use of such words in your examples are only part of that. We have to accept the fact that we don’t live alone in this planet and as humans interact we learn things which we use for our development. The invention and use of new words are just one of the results of this interaction.
Pero kung igwa talaga ning eksaktong Bikol term sa gabos na bagay tano ta dae ta ini itukdo asin pagyamanon? Sa hiling ko po mayo kita ning eksaktong Bikol na tataramon para sa gabos na bagay kung kaya ang mga tawo sa media asin ang mga tawo na minataram sa kadaklan minagamit ning tataramon na madaling maintindihan kan gabos. Sana igwa talaga ning Bikol sa gabos na bagay lalo na ang mga sinambit mong example para maiheras asin maitukdo ta sa gabos na Bikolano asin maiwasan ta ang sinasabi mong pag “bastardized” kan Bikol language asin pagroro kan satuyang kultura bilang Bikolnon.
