SUSTAINING RICE SUFFICIENCY. Governor LRay Villafuerte launched recently the palay seed distribution project to support farmers whose farmlands were badly hit by the onslaught of continuous heavy rains and flooding that occurred early this year. Agricultural productivity most especially in rice, the staple food of the Filipinos, remains among the priority thrusts of the provincial government.
