VINZONS, Camarines Norte -- Town Mayor Oliver Ferrer was shocked to find three unidentified male bodies floating in the waters of Barangays Sabang and Aguit-it believed to have been swept by strong waves from Paracale town.

        About 643 hectares planted to rice and vegetables had been destroyed in the towns of Talisay, Vinzons, and Labo by floods brought about by continuous rains.

        In an interview with the Bicol Mail, Public Officer Arnel Ferrer of the provincial civil defense identified l3,804 evacuees in Vinzons town.

        On Tuesday afternoon, seven barangays here were placed in the state of calamity with an allotted aid of P.5 million.

        On the same day, relief goods were brought to the hunger-stricken residents of the Calaguas Islands after a week’s delay caused by stormy weather.
