NAGA CITY -- The Rotary Club of Manila which counts among its members top government officials, national leaders of business and industry, and accomplished professionals, will have Naga City Mayor Jesse M. Robredo as its guest of honor and speaker during the club’s regular meeting on January 31, 2008 at the Manila Polo Club.

        Founded in 1919, the Rotary Club of Manila is the first rotary club in the whole of Asia.

        RCM President Bienvenido E. Laguesma said they have invited the city mayor from Naga so that they may learn from the city’s experiences and current thrusts, “as they impact and affect the nation as well.

        It was only recently that Robredo also graced the Rotary Club of Makati at Forbes Park, another prestigious club in Metro Manila.
