DAET, Camarines Norte -- The 400 Aetas in the province seemed to see Santa Claus known in their dialect as “Kabihug” through several government officials who gave them relief goods Tuesday morning, January 8.

        Vice Governor Roy Padilla Jr., DSWD Regional Director Jim Rebustillo, and PSWD Lorna de Claro led the gift giving at the Agro Sports Center here.

        The commodities consisting of clothes, food, and transistor radios came from the DSWD.

        According to Rebustillo, the relief operation was conducted in response to the appeal of Padilla with their office to help the Aetas in the far-flung areas in the towns of Jose Panganiban, Paracale, Labo, Sta. Elena, and Basud.
