NAGA CITY -- Members of the Sangguniang Bayan of the municipality of Claveria, Cagayan will be visiting this city on January 15 to know more about the city government’s e-governance system, economic development and eco-tourism/waste management programs.
Claveria Vice Mayor Solferino A. Agra said the study tour/visit is also aimed to “strengthen our ties with the people (in the city) and achieve vital relationship that would yield to our ends excellent legislation, administration and governance.”
Meanwhile, the 50-strong faculty members of Corpus Christi School of Cagayan de Oro City have informed the Naga City Visitors Center of their planned visit to this city on March 2008.
The faculty members who have sought queries on hotel and food accommodation said they intend to visit important historical and religious landmarks in Naga and learn from its local officials and residents how the city is coping up to be one of the most dynamic and vibrant local government units in south Luzon.
