CAMSUR MEETS CEBU. Red will be the dominant color as the Camarines Sur Cultural Group brings Kaogma, the world’s hottest festival, to the shores of Cebu City in time for the famous Sinulog Festival on January 19-20, 2008. Headed by Gov. LRay Villafuerte with the full force of the Camarines Sur SP, the CamSur contingent will also showcase the Peñafrancia Festival, a religious celebration for Ina similar to Sinulog in honor of Señor Sto. Niño, and CWC to promote Bicol tourism. Camarines Sur’s colorful participation hopes to ante the stake and further create a media buzz and blitz that will give a new focus to the governor’s efforts in promoting the tourism potentials also abundant in the premiere province in Bicolandia.
