Why English? Why not Filipino?

THIS is not about the any particular news item in your newspaper or magazine. But a question on the legality of what you’ve been doing.

Sec. 6, Art. XIV of our Constitution states clearly and categorically that the national language of this country is Filipino. (Underlining supplied, not to italicize the word but to indicate that it refers to the language and not to the Filipino people.)

(Sec.7 is essentially a repeat of Sec.6, except for the word “English.”)

Please state publicity your stand on why you have kept publishing in English despite the constitutional mandate (on Filipino,).

        Thank you.
