Robredo finds himself conquering the global stage where his audience are among the world’s top policy makers. At left he is shown giving a lecture at the Center on Housing Rights and Evictions (CoHRE) in Geneva, Switzerland after receiving the 2007 prestigious Housing Rights Protector Award for the city in December 2007. The other photo at right shows him (at rostrum, standing) presenting a paper on civic engagement during the 7th Global Forum at UN headquarters in Vienna, Austria, also last month. Robredo was cited by the Geneva-based international organization for his innovative programs in providing security of tenure and housing to the 27 urban poor communities in Naga.
