A spectacular masquerade-themed induction and turnover ceremonies of JCI Naga and JCI Naga Cariñosa was held at Villa Caceres Hotel last Saturday, March 1, 2008. This is an annual ceremony which marks the start of the JCI Local Organizational Membership for the year to provide leadership training and development of its individual members and help build better communities

The program formally opened with a speech by our City Mayor, Hon. Jesse M. Robredo who has always been supportive to Junior Chamber International. The joint event also highlighted the induction of new members and Board Members as JCI Philippines Immediate Past President Glenn Santos, and National Vice President for Bicol JCI Mem. Donaldo Gumabao initiated the joint induction of both chapters. It was then followed by the induction of 2008 LOM President of JCI Naga JCI Mem. Alexis Fante and JCI Naga Cariñosa, JCI Mem. Leah Andrea S. Soriano. The solemn ceremony was also witnessed as the Past Presidents of chapters turned over the President’s Medallion and Gavel.

An inspiring message was given by our Guest Speaker, 2008 JCI Phils. National President JCI Sen. Albert Raphael Angelo “Rip” A. Lesaca with over 200 guests chapters present including JCI Senators, Past Presidents and National Officers. As the program continue they were entertained by the LRV Dancers who rendered an impressive intermission number. The guests were treated to the most exciting part of the program when the JCI Naga Cariñosa performed the most awaited dance number.
