Five Universidad de Sta. Isabel (USI) students were accepted as official delegates to the 11th National Ayala Young Leaders Congress to be held February 10 to 13, 2009 at the San Miguel Corporation – Management Training Center at Alfonso, Cavite. They are: Reynaldo Ferrer de Guzman, Jr. (BSN3), Cliff Bue Viola (BSN3), Katherine Palacay Jovenal (BSN3), Ma. Clarissa Cano Longanilla (BSFSIM3), and Margie Daza Valle BEE3).

        The USI qualifiers will join 74 other student leaders nationwide after a rigid screening and selection process among 142 student leaders. Those who made it were deemed to possess leadership qualities “that impressed many of the Ayala Group of Companies executives who served as interviewers.”


        USI Stude: 1st Place in National News Writing Angeli Lou Villanueva, 2nd Year Accountancy student of the Universidad de Sta. Isabel, this city, is First Place winner in the National News Writing Contest sponsored by the Organization of Student Services Education, Inc. Journalism Conference and 2nd Writing Competition. The event was held January 15-17, 2009 at the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) in Tagaytay City.
