One dies, another wounded in Rinconada shoot incidents

NABUA, Camarines Sur --- a 29-year-old man died instantly after he was gunned down by two unidentified assailants while walking along the road at a remote village here, the other week.

        Police chief inspector Rhoderick Campo, Nabua Municipal Police Station (NMPS) chief indentifjed the victim as Marion Dacleson, a resident of Barangay Lourdes Young who was shot to death during the village’s fiesta.

        According to reports, Dacleson was on his way home when the suspects approached and shot the victim several times with caliber 45 pistols at around 5:00 p.m.

        The suspects immediately fled towards a forested area.

        Police recovered 16 empty shells and 2 slugs pistols from the crime scene.

        Also in Nabua, a 47- year-old farmer was in critical condition after he sustained multiple stab wounds inflicted upon him by his neighbor.

        Initial police investigation disclosed that the victim, identified as Ronaldo Pelleces of Brgy. La Purisima was sitting inside a waiting shed near his house when confronted by suspect Teodoro Baldoza Jr., also of same barangay.

        After a brief verbal tussle, Baldoza pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim several times before finally leaving the scene. The victim was rushed to a hospital in Iriga City while the suspect remains at large.

        In nearby Bato town, the police are on a manhunt of two persons tagged as perpetrators in a shooting incident in Barangay Pagatpatan Monday.

        The suspects who remain at large were identified as Jun Malaya and Orlando Abaño while the victim was identified as Mario Santillan Jr. He is still recuperating at Sta. Maria Foundation Hospital in Iriga City,
