NAGA CITY --- Two students from Hope Christian School, Melchor Kenneth Villanueva, fourth year high school and Christine Yedda Marie Albay, Grade 6, will represent Bicol in the National Secondary School’s Press Conference in Tagum City, Davao del Norte on February 22-26, this year.

        Brian James Masalunga,also of the same school was elected auditor of the Bicol Association of Secondary Schools Campus Writers.

        Meanwhile, in the sports competition, four students from Hope Christian School will represent Bicol in the Palarong Pambansa swimming competition in Tarlac City on April 2010 after bagging the most number of medals for young tankers in the recent Palarong Bicol held February 1-4 in Daet, Camarines Norte.

        Following is the summary of the Hopeians’ swimming achievement in the Palarong Bicol: Wilfredo Sunglao, Jr, 9 golds; Christine Imperial, 1 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronzes; Crystal Joy Imperial, 2 golds, 2 silvers, and 1 bronze; Alexandra Maronilla-Seva, 3 bronzes; and Randall Almonte, 3 silvers and 1 bronze.
