JCI Naga Cariñosa aims for better this 2010!

JCI Naga & JCI Naga Cariñosa will be having their joint Induction & Turnover Ceremonies on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at the Villa Caceres Hotel, Naga City. This will be JCI Naga’s 55th & JCI Naga Cariñosa’s 17th celebration of the event.

        Considered as one of the highlights every year for JCI, both JCI Naga & JCI Naga Cariñosa earnestly prepared for the coming event. This is the chance of welcoming new members into the fun & truly worthwhile world of Jayceeism. For old members, the Induction ceremony is a way to rekindle the bliss & commitment of being a member of the organization. For incoming officers & board members, the event gives way to the pledge and vow of each one to do whatever it is that they can for the betterment of the organization & the causes that it supports.

        For 2010, a new set of leaders will be inducted. Leading the Naga City Jaycees for this year is JCI Mem. Vincent Lobrigo, who started in the organization as a regular member in 2006; 2007 Assistant Secretary General & 2008 Secretary General and Executive Vice President & Regional Training Director in 2009. All throughout those years offering his skills & leadership abilities for the chapter. Professionally, he is currently the Head of Information & Communications Technology Center of Ateneo de Naga University.

        For JCI Naga Cariñosa’s 17th year, JCI Member Miel S. Bongon will serve as the Chapter President. Her experiences as an entrepreneur, government employee and Secretary-General of Camarines Sur Chamber of Commerce & Industry prepared her and keeps her attuned in the various roles & positions that she has had in JCI Naga Cariñosa & vice versa. She started her JCI Career as a new member in 2006; 2007 Assistant Secretary General, 2008 Public Relations Officer & 2009 Secretary General.

        The event will be attended by over 300 young leaders & entrepreneurs from various JCI chapters nationwide. Also expected to grace the event are inspiring personalities and public servants, 2010 JCI Philippines National President Manuel Van A. Torrevillas, 2009 JCI Philippines National President Fulbert Woo and Congressman Luis R. Villafuerte as Guests of Honor.
