DISHONORING DR. JOSE RIZAL y MERCADO. Some crackpots from the Provincial Capitol thought it proper to commemorate the national hero’s day this year by converting the Rizal Park into a huge “mercado” or marketplace. The place is now swarming with orange-colored tents and stalls selling fake vcds, “ukay-ukays” housewares, food items, toys, etc. which dishonor our national hero and desecrate the historical landmark.                                                                        JOEY CO
