Unding's fury: the worst to
hit Naga in recent years

While most of Naga City residents were still watching their favorite soap operas on TV and a crowd of well-heeled people in deep appreciation of a concert by a sextet of cello, flute, percussion, guitar and violin artists in a downtown music lounge, Unding, like a thief in the night, at about 9pm of fateful Nov. 19, suddenly unleashed its rampaging winds at 200 kilometers per hour, sending the city in panic and prayer for God’s mercy. The morning after was a city in chaos and ruins as the pictures below show, no thanks to Pag-asa’s ineptness and unreliable storm tracking. (Photos by Vic Villaflor)
