
NYC opens the
search for
outstanding youth organizations
The search is on for the 2004 Ten Accomplished Youth Organization
(TAYO), a project spearheaded by the National Youth Commission
(NYC) and the Office of Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan.
Now on its 3rd year. TAYO aims to recognize, reward and encourage
the exemplary achievement of youth organizations in contributing
various efforts for the benefit of their communities and the
country.
The search is open to all groups, organizations, clubs and
societies whose membership and leadership is composed of at least
15 members who are 15 to 30 years old. Organizations shall be
judged on the basis of a recent project or programs conducted from
January 2004 to January 2005.
Interested your groups should submit the following requirements in
3 copies. Accomplished entry form. Certification attesting to the
existence and veracity of the information submitted to the search.
Short profile of the Project Entry (not more than one page on a
short bond paper), Photo documentation (not more than three pages
on a short bond paper) and Registration with the Youth
Organization, Organization Registration Program (YORP) of NYC.
Deadline for submission of entries on January 31, 2005. A plaque
of appreciation and cash prize amounting to P50,000 awaits the
winner.
